Music

In Music we create an inspiring learning environment in order to develop creativity, communication and collaboration. Music is accessible to all via a broad and balanced curriculum offering performing, composing, listening and appraisal opportunities appropriate to each level of student. Many students arrive having not experienced much Music at Primary School, whereas others may have had a good grounding in music. Due to this, at the beginning of Year 7, Music is accessible to all, irrespective of previous experience.

The curriculum is reviewed annually and adapted to suit the needs and abilities of the everchanging cohort based on feedback from staff and students.

It is intended that on leaving Seven Hills, students will have had the opportunity to appreciate and experience a wide range of musical genres.
