Simon Growcott

My name is Simon Growcott, and I have worked for the Department for Education in a variety of funding roles for 12 years including SEN. I have a keen interest in the success of Special Schools having attended a deaf unit myself while at primary school. I was born in Crewe and grew up on the railways so travel is in my genes – I moved to Sheffield to be closer to the snooker and the countryside, and stayed for the people. As governor I hope to be able to help Seven Hills weather the challenges ahead and continue to thrive as a centre of excellence for SEN pupils in Sheffield.
